About TSJOS

ในโลกนี้การสอนวิทยาศาสตร์ให้นักเรียนระดับมัธยมนั้นไม่ควรเป็นเพียงแค่การสอนเนื้อหาวิทยาศาสตร์เท่านั้น แต่ควรสอนให้เป็นนักวิทยาศาสตร์อ นักเรียนควรได้ทดลองทุกด้านของการเป็นนักวิทยาศาสตร์ ควรได้ทั้งการเรียนรู้ความรู้ทางวิทยาศาสตร์ที่มีอยู่ในหนังสือเรียน และการเรียนรู้วิธีการสร้างความรู้ใหม่ผ่านการวิจัยทางวิทยาศาสตร์ จากนั้นก็ต้องมีโอกาสที่จะเผยแพร่ผลงาน ที่องค์กร StudentScientists.org เรามีเป้าหมายในการพัฒนาหลักสูตรวิทยาศาสตร์ที่เปิดโอกาสให้นักเรียนทำการวิจัยและเผยแพร่ผลงาน เราเลยได้จัดตั้งวารสารวิทยาศาสตร์ Thailand Scholastic Journal of Science ไว้

วารสารวิทยาศาสตร์ Thaland Scholastic Journal of Science เป็นวารสารออนไลน์ที่ไม่มีค่าใช้จ่ายในการเสนอบทความหรือค่าใช้จ่ายจากผู้เขียน บทความที่ตีพิมพ์ใน TSJOS มีลิขสิทธิ์ภายใต้การอนุญาต Creative Commons ประเภท CC BY ผู้เขียนจะถือลิขสิทธิ์ของบทความที่ตีพิมพ์ในวารสารไว้เป็นของตนเอง

In an ideal world, teaching science to secondary school students means not just teaching students the science content, but also teaching them how to be scientists. Students should experience all aspects of being a scientist. They should not only master current scientific knowledge found in text books, they should also learn how to create new knowledge through scientific research and then have the opportunity to publish their work. At StudentScientists.org, we work towards the development of science curricula that include opportunities for original student research and publishing. As a part of that effort, we have established the Thailand Scholastic Journal of Science.

The Thailand Scholastic Journal of Science is a bilingual, entry-level, peer-reviewed journal publishing papers in English and Thai. TSJOS is dedicated to publishing the original research of Thai secondary students in all areas of STEM. Papers submitted to the TSJOS undergo an editorial selection process and then a double blind review with at least two reviewers. Following reviewer responses, if accepted, the editors consult with the author to revise the paper according to the suggestions of the reviewers. Upon revision by the authors, the paper is sent to the reviewers again for review and revisions if necessary until the paper is approved by the reviewers. The TSJOS publishes papers on a rolling basis as they are received throughout the year.

The Thailand Scholastic Journal of Science is an online, Open-Access Journal with no author or submission fees. Papers in the TSJOS are copyrighted under Creative Commons licensing, CC BY. Authors retain the copyright to their papers published in the Journal.
